The website of the Police Museum shows a photo of the flag of the Ministry of the Interior.
A "war flag" (photo) with ribbon (photo) was ceremonially granted by the President of the Republic on the occasion of the establishment of the "National Guard Corps" - the predcessor of the Croatian Armed Forces, at the time, still within Yugoslavia, established on 28 May 1991 within the Ministry of the Interior.
